A French Prayer
I have entrusted everything into Your hands:
That which weighs me down and which pains me,
That which worries me and which causes me discomfort,
And the worries of tomorrow.
I have entrusted everything into Your hands.
I have entrusted everything into Your hands:
The heavy burden dragging on from yesterday,
What I cry, what I hope,
And the why of my destiny.
I have entrusted everything into Your hands.
I have entrusted everything into Your hands:
Whether it be joy, sadness, poverty or richness,
And all my fears up until this day.
I have entrusted everything into Your hands.
I have entrusted everything into Your hands:
Whether it be death or life,
Health or sickness,
The beginning or the end.
I have entrusted everything into Your hands as all is well in Your hands.
