Roller Coaster to the Promised Land

When Israel left Egypt they were triumphant--but soon they were terrified; then they were delivered but, days later, dying of thirst. Why was their journey to the Promised Land a never-ending roller coaster experience? When we are overwhelmed and discouraged in our own life, we find in their story real and practical answers to strengthen our faith. Why was Moses confident at the Red Sea, but Israel was terrified?  And, later in the story, when Moses himself thought things looked bleak and impossible, what did God say to him? How can their story change our situation now? In this seminar we'll take a fresh look at the Exodus to find new answers for what we each face today--answers that replace a roller coaster faith experience with new insights that allow us to rest more peacefully in the faithfulness of God.
