Welcome to Live at the Well
You will show me the path that leads to life; In Your presence is fullness of joy. Psalm 16:11
A Message from Kelly
When God first opened the way for me to begin sharing concerts and spoken messages, my personal mission statement was a paraphrase from J. B. Phillips describing the work of Paul and Barnabas: To travel from church to church putting fresh heart into the believers.
For over twenty years, my prayer has been to provide a place where people can deepen their connection with God and renew their strength. Every seminar, every story and song in a concert--it's all about making and strengthening a life-changing connection to God.
I love how Jesus showed "God with us" in the common things of everyday life. He told interesting stories that were easy to remember; He healed and repaired and restored; He provided food; and He talked with people in a way that made them feel valued and noticed and encouraged.
He constantly saw His Father in everything around Him. He couldn't walk through a day without recognizing His Father's Kingdom in a farmer sowing seed, a housewife baking bread, a shepherd with his sheep, and much, much more. He made the Kingdom of Heaven real, and its principles practical.
This is what I pray to share--using stories, music, creative visuals, art--anything that makes a particular teaching of God come alive.
His grace and faithfulness are very real to me. They're not just pleasant reassuring concepts, they are precious and vital and the only reason I am blessed to keep serving.
Several years ago, it pleased God to send key people to help grow and expand His ministry through Live at the Well. Many of you reading this have already met or interacted with Karen Drexler, my dear friend and partner in ministry. Her prayers, commitment, and love for God give a powerful and beautiful witness to everyone she meets. Her ministry vision and consistent dedication are a gift from God.
When people come to a Live at the Well seminar or concert, and they're secretly carrying a heavy burden, Karen and I want them to be comforted and encouraged. When people have hard questions about God (and perhaps feel guilty for even having such thoughts), we pray they will find a wealth of genuine reliable answers through the seminars we share. When people need words of encouragement and inspiration, we hope they will find them on our daily ministry Facebook updates, or in the Devotional Resources on this site.
Our prayer is to help grow disciples by lifting up Jesus; by encouraging a strong personal connection to God that changes the way we live and provides practical Biblical application to the situations we face.
Thank you for stopping by to visit our site. We welcome you to contact us.
Sincerely,
Kelly
Our Mission Statement
To make true vital connection with Jesus practical and real in our lives so that we may effectively glorify God and know His joy forever.
Our Name
In Genesis 25:11 we read that God blessed Isaac “who lived by the well Lahai-roi which means 'the Living One who sees me.'" Isaac made the well of the living and all-seeing God his constant source of supply—the dwelling of his soul. Read the devotional by Charles Spurgeon that inspired our name.
